Braver Choices

1-1 Case Management

A bespoke package of 1:1 interventions for young people identified as at risk of, or already engaging with weapons. Sessions are designed to help young people challenge the narrative on knife crime and weapon carrying, empowering them to create a positive self-identity and make positive life choices. Braver Choices has thematic resources for up to 20 sessions that can be tailored to individual needs.

Prevention, Education and Early Intervention

Strengths based programme delivered in school classrooms or assemblies that contribute to Welsh national curriculum and PSHE lessons based on peer pressure, resilience and the law relating to carrying knives and wider weapons.

“I realise now, it’s just not worth it. I thought I was protecting myself but really I was just making myself and my friends more likely to get hurt.”
